HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – The Presbyterian College men's golf team wrapped up their first competition of the spring season on Tuesday at the Wexford Invitational. PC finished 11
th with
Jimmy McCollum leading the way in a T-7
th, shooting a 72 (E) for the tournament. McCollum's top 10 finish is the first for a Blue Hose since
Lleyton Renner did it at the Big South Championship last season.
Francis Marion won the overall event with a final score of 866 (+2), beating out second place Furman by one stroke who finished at 867 (+3). The individual title was won by Tobias Jonsson of Mercer with a 212 (-4).

Jimmy McCollum tied his career-best third round shooting a 70 (-2). He shot seven birdies in the final round to jump him up in a tie for 7
th overall.

Lleyton Renner ended his day with an even par 72, placing him T-31
st. He was -2 on the front nine before a double-bogey brought him back to even.

Jack Wofford was right behind Renner at +7 giving him a T-37
th. The freshman's best productivity came in round one, shooting a 72 (E) with five birdies.

Trey Howard was T-60
th throughout the first two rounds and that's where he would finish. He had four birdies in round three, but was also bogey heavy that kept him at T-60
th.

Columb Knight was the final competitor for the Blue Hose, ending with a +16, placing him T-70
th.
