SALEM, Va. – As the 2025 calendar flips to November, that means it's time for a brand-new season of Presbyterian College men's wrestling. The Blue Hose will begin their seventh season on Sunday morning, part of the Southeast Open (hosted by Virginia Tech).
Formerly known as the Hokie Open, this particular tournament has been an annual event since 2008 and regularly attracts the nation's best teams. All but one SoCon institution will be throwing their name into the brackets this weekend, with 40 teams entering altogether.
#10 Virginia Tech, #7 NC State, #20 West Virginia, and #23 North Carolina will all be part of the festivities this weekend. The tournament will get started at 9:00 AM.
The Blue Hose wrestled in just one regular-season tourney last year, the Mountaineer Invitational at Appalachian State where two PC entrees collected 2
nd place.
