MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose men's golf team concluded play with the third round at the Bash at the Beach at The Surf Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, S.C. on Tuesday afternoon. Presbyterian finished tied for 11
th place with a three-round score of 884 (+32).
Oral Roberts won the tournament with a three-round score of 843 (-9). Utah Valley's Caden Weber captured the tournament's individual championship with a three-round score of 205 (-8). The Blue Hose were led by
Columb Knight and
Thomas Hollingsworth who finished tied for 36th place with three-round scores of 220 (+7).
Notables
- Knight posted three birdies and 11 pars on the way to a final-round score of 72 (+1).
- Hollingsworth had one birdie and 11 pars including an eight-hole stretch of pars (holes 10-17) for his final round score of 78.
- Jimmy McCollum finished tied for 51st with a three-round score of 222 (+9). He had one birdie and 10 pars including recording pars on holes 13-18 while shooting a 78 on his final round.
- Lleyton Renner finished tied for 58th with a three-round score of 224 (+11). He birdied hole number one and tallied nine pars while shooting 80 on his round.
- Jack Wofford finished tied for 88th with a three-round score of 232 (+19). Wofford had two birdies and nine pars while shooting 78 on his third round.
