FRIPP ISLAND, S.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose are in third place after the first round of the Fripp Island Intercollegiate at the Ocean Creek Golf Club in Fripp Island, South Carolina.

Presbyterian posted a first-round score of 287 (+3). Gardner-Webb leads the tournament with a score of 283 (-1).

Sophomore Jeep Patrick and junior Spence Hagood are tied for fifth place after posting an opening round 70 (-1).

Notables

• Patrick tallied two birdies and 15 pars on his round.
• Hagood recorded five birdies and nine pars on his round.
• Freshman James Rhodes is currently tied for ninth after shooting an opening round 71 (E). Rhodes had three birdies and 13 pars on his round.
• Sophomore Richard Anaclerio recorded an opening round 76 (+5) with two birdies and 10 pars on the round.
• Freshman Tag Graziano shot an 82 (+11) with one birdie and nine pars on the round.
