2021: Played in 28 games while making 11 starts in all three outfield positions (six in center field, two each in left field and right field and one as the Blue Hose designated hitter)… totaled six hits with four runs knocked in and five runs scored… recorded two stolen bases… had a two-for-four performance against USC Upstate (April 30)… had two RBIs against Radford (March 19)… stole two bases against Campbell (April 25) when coming off of the bench…

2020: Played in 15 games while making 14 starts with 10 of those starts coming in left field… he made  a pair of starts in right field and a start apiece in center field and as the Blue Hose designated hitter… he had seven hits while scoring seven runs on the year… he opened the season with a pair of hits in the season opener against Eastern Kentucky (Feb.14)… he reached base safely in each of his first nine games of the season for a team best mark… he knocked in a run in a March 8 game against UConn… was second on the team with five stolen bases on five attempts…

BEFORE PC: Was a two-year starter as a center fielder at Marion Military Institute... batted .367 during his freshman season, while totaling a .346 average during his sophomore year... drove in 42 runs thru those two years... Had 99 hits during that stretch... he received the Tommy Murfee Award as the Outstanding Male Student-Athlete of the school... received the Executive Officer's Exemplary Leadership Award and the Commandant's medals for best citizenship and leadership... 

PERSONAL: David Sweat was born in LaGrange, Ga. to Charles and Diane Sweat...both of his parents are PC graduates as well... he is currently majoring in history and plans teach after graduation...
