At Presbyterian –
2022: Teamed with Teo Cariov to play number two doubles against Belmont Abbey (Feb. 19).

2021: Played in a pair of matches for PC against College of Charleston and The Citadel… earned singles and doubles victory for the Blue Hose against The Citadel…

2020: Did not appear in any matches.

2019: Compiled an overall mark of 8-5 ... Went 1-1 in singles, playing both matches at the No. 6 position ... Picked up a 6-3, 6-1 win over Belmont Abbey in first collegiate singles match ... Won a total of seven matches at No. 3 doubles, picking up victories with three different partners. 

Prior to PC: Competed at the Southern and National level tournaments ... Ranked Top-60 in the South ... Posted multiple tournament wins in both singles and doubles ... Ranked in the Top-400 in his class in the nation ... Was a three-star recruit ... Member of the National Honor Society ... An Eagle Scout, he was also part of the Teen Pact Leadership School, Teen Council and Teen Advisors ... Also worked with Special Olympics.

Personal: Born Michael Vance Mercer ... Parents are Michael and Kelly Mercer ... Chose PC because he fell in love with the school, tennis team, professors and everything about it in general ... He felt like it was the perfect fit for him and couldn't see himself anywhere else ... Intends to major in Biology.
