At Presbyterian –
2023:
Competed in 22 doubles matches with several partners but primarily with David Mamalat at number three doubles…Won eight doubles matches…Participated in eight singles matches while collecting a win at number six singles against Georgetown…Played a role in helping the Blue Hose capture the Big South Tournament title and a share of the Big South regular-season title while earning a bid to the NCAA Tournament.

2022: Finished the season with a 6-3 record in singles play…Five of his six wins came at number six singles…Teamed with three different partners competing in four doubles matches.
 
2021: Played in 13 matches with seven singles matches and six doubles matches… went 4-3 in singles play, earning wins at No. 3-5 positions… rallied from down a set against The Citadel to earn a singles victory at No. 3 singles… earned straight-set wins against Emmanuel and Belmont Abbey… added four doubles wins at No. 2 doubles with Alberto Conde coming against College of Charleston, The Citadel, Emmanuel and Davidson…

2020 (spring): Was named Big South Freshman of the Week on Feb. 12 ... Competed in all 13 contests for PC ... Went 4-7 in singles play, earning wins at No. 3-5 positions ... Picked up first collegiate singles victory at No. 5 spot against Mercer ... Also went 4-5 in doubles play, primarily playing at No. 2 ... Won a doubles match with four different partners, including with Daniel Stenger at No. 2 against Belmont Abbey for first collegiate doubles victory.

2019 (fall): Played in four fall tournaments ... Won the Blue singles flight at the South Carolina Men's Collegiate Tennis Championships.

Prior to PC: Was ranked third in the state of Colorado and fourth in the Mountain Region ... Won a Regional Championship ... Attended Boulder Universal School ... Made the Dean's List.

Personal: Teodor Samuel Cariov was born in Chicago, Ill., to Jevgenij and Ruta Cariov ... Father, Jevgenij, played tennis collegiately at Texas Tech and DePaul, and became the first player in DePaul program history to qualify for the NCAA Championships ... Father was inducted into the DePaul Ahtletic Hall of Fame in 2017 ... Chose PC because of the small, intimate campus.
