2023:
Earned First Team Singles and First Team Doubles All-Big South honors…Named Big South Player of the Week twice (January 25 and April 5)…Teamed with Dusan Milanovic to form a doubles tandem that participated in the NCAA Doubles Championships, ITA National Fall Championships and reached the semifinals of the ITA Carolina Regionals…Benson and Milanovic finished the season ranked No. 37 in the ITA Doubles rankings while reaching a program-high of No. 22 in the rankings after the Fall 2022 Tournament season…Benson and Milanovic finished seventh in the ITA Carolina Regional Doubles rankings…In Presbyterian’s NCAA Tournament match against No. 4 Kentucky, Benson and Milanovic cruised to a 6-1 win over Kentucky’s top doubles team that was ranked 28th  in the nation…Benson and Milanovic tallied a team-high 14 doubles wins all at number one doubles…Recorded 12 singles wins playing the majority of the season at number two singles…Played a major role in helping the Blue Hose capture the Big South Tournament title and a share of the Big South regular-season title while earning a bid to the NCAA Tournament...ITA Scholar-Athlete.

2022: Named First Team All-Big South in Doubles and Second Team All-Big South in Singles…Teamed with Dusan Milanovic to record a team-leading 17 doubles wins (including a perfect 6-0 record in the Big South) and early in the season, the duo was ranked in the ITA Top 50…From February 13 to April 2, they posted 12 consecutive wins…Claimed Big South Player of the Week honors (Feb. 16)…Tallied 11 singles win playing primarily at number one or two singles.


2021: Named the Big South Player of the Year, Benson earned 10 singles wins which included a seven match win streak at one point en route to a 10-6 overall record at No. 1 singles for the Blue Hose… he earned five straight set wins including two of his three singles wins in Big South play which also earned him First Team Singles honors… also recorded ranked wins this spring against Tadas Babelis from N.C. State and Bastien Huon from Coastal Carolina… earned the championship clinch point for the Blue Hose against Radford in the Big South title match… he won six doubles matches overall with three of those coming with doubles partner Georgije Babic… the pair earned Big South First Team Doubles honors following the season… earned two Big South Player of the Week honors as he became the first Blue Hose to earn multiple players of the week honors since 2017 when Ben Kelley won three player of the weeks… became the first Blue Hose since 2014 to win Player of the Year honors when Grayson Mills earned the award… Benson became the first Big South play to win the league’s freshman of the year honors and follow that up with a Player of the Year honor since 2011-2012…

2020 (spring): Named Big South Player of the Week on Feb. 12 after going a combined 6-0 against Belmont Abbey and Coastal Carolina ... Played No. 1 singles in all 13 contests for PC, turning in a 6-7 record ... His six singles wins were second on the Blue Hose ... Turned in an 8-4 mark in doubles play, including a 6-0 record with partner Nicholas McKinney ... Won seven straight doubles matches at one point ... His eight doubles and 14 combined victories led Presbyterian.

2019 (fall): Played in four fall tournaments ... Won the Championship singles flight at the South Carolina Men's Collegiate Tennis Championships.


2019 (spring): Selected to Big South First Team All-Conference Singles ... Named Big South Freshman of the Year ... Picked up the Big South Freshman of the Week Award twice (Jan. 23 and Feb. 6) ... Played in 38 matches during the season, 20 singles and 18 doubles, earning 20 victories ... Won 11 singles matches, including matching the team-high with six Big South wins ... Won seven matches on court two in singles play ... Won nine doubles matches, including four in league play ... Won seven matches at No. 2 doubles.


Prior to PC: Attended the Club Med Academies in Port St. Lucie, Fla. … Class Valedictorian … Named school’s Student-Athlete of the Year … Member of National Honors Society … Serves as a tutor for international students.
