Tara Shelley is in her second year as an assistant athletic trainer at PC. She acts as the primary athletic trainer for the women’s basketball team and is the assistant with the football team.

Prior to coming to PC in June of 2014, Shelley worked as an assistant athletic trainer at Bluefield College in Bluefield, VA. During her three years at Bluefield, she worked as the primary ATC for the football, men's and women's basketball and tennis teams.

Shelley received a bachelor's degree from Florida State University in history in December 2005 and received a master of science in Athletic Training from Shenandoah University in May 2011.

Tara earned her national certification as an athletic trainer in 2011, is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, the South Carolina Athletic Trainers' Association and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

She is originally from St. Augustine, Fl where her parents still reside.
