The Blue Hose will look to build off of their last time out, a 3-2 overtime win against Campbell on Saturday. PC enters the match third in the Big South standings thanks to a fast start in conference play with wins coming over VMI and Campbell. Byron Quinatoa (Santo Domingo de los Coloardos, Ecuador) scored the first and final goals against the Camels, lifting PC to a 3-2 win 8:10 into overtime. Ignacio Monchetti (Montevideo, Uruguay) also tallied a goal for the Blue Hose.

Quinatoa leads the team with four goals and an assist for nine points, with all nine coming in PC's last five matches.

PC will look for their first win in its fourth meeting against the Flames. The Blue Hose dropped a 2-1 contest to Liberty last year in Clinton.

Liberty comes into Friday's match with a  6-4 overall marker and a 1-2 record in league action. The Flames has fallen in their last three matches, all by a 3-1 margin. The team last faced off against Wofford on Tuesday night in Spartanburg, their fourth straight road game.

Phillip Aseweh leads the team with four goals and six assists for 14 points. Timothy Bullock and Travis Joseph have also tallied four goals and Josh Pacella tends goal for Liberty, playing all but one half this season and maintaining a 1.34 goals against average.

The Blue Hose hit the road again for their next game, a Wednesday night tilt at High Point before returning home to face Radford on Saturday, October 22.
