PC Drops Road Tilt at Clemson

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College softball team dropped the final game before its conference opener on Tuesday, falling 5-0 at Clemson.

NOTABLES
- Jenna Greene tossed her 15th complete game of the season, tying for the fifth-most complete games in a single season in PC's DI era. The righty fanned four and yielded five hits over six innings.
- Hunter Meadows led Presbyterian with a pair of hits in the contest. The sophomore also stole her team-high 15th base of the season, and is a perfect 15-for-15 stealing bases as a Blue Hose.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Tigers opened the scoring with a run in the bottom of the first on a sacrifice fly.
- Clemson expanded the margin in the third, as a pair of homers made it 5-0.
- The Blue Hose put a couple of runners on base in the seventh, but could not take advantage.
 
UP NEXT
PC returns home on Saturday and Sunday as it opens Big South Conference play with a three-game set against USC Upstate. The series begins with a doubleheader on Saturday at 1 pm, which will be streamed live on ESPN+.
