PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose began the 2022-23 season with a strong performance with a third-place finish at the Golfweek Fall Challenge at the True Blue Golf Club in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. Presbyterian finished the three rounds with a score of 844 (-20) after finishing with a third-round score of 284 (-4).

Jacksonville State won the tournament with a score of 826 (-28) and Wright State finished second with a three-round score of 838 (-26).

Presbyterian's Jack Wofford tallied the Blue Hose's highest finish placing tied for ninth at minus six.
 
Notables

• Wofford finished his third round even par with a score of 72. He tallied three birdies and 12 pars over his final 18 holes.
• Jimmy McCollum finished the tournament tied for 12^th at minus five. McCollum shot a two over par 74 on his third round. He recorded three birdies and 10 pars on his round.
• Columb Knight finished the tournament tied for 19^th at minus three. He finished the tournament with a strong final round of 69. He recorded five birdies and 11 pars on his third round.
•  Lleyton Renner finished the tournament tied for 25^th at minus two. He shot an even-par 72 on today's final round. He collected three birdies and 13 pars on his round.
• Thomas Hollingsworth recorded a final round 71 (-1). He collected five birdies and 11 pars on his round. He finished the tournament tied for 31^st at even par.
