LANCASTER, Penn. – Representing the final time in the year 2023 that the Presbyterian College men's wrestling team will hit the mats, the program's lone date of competition in December is set for Sunday afternoon where the Blue Hose will travel to Franklin & Marshall. There, they'll meet F&M sandwiched in between two other duals versus Bloomsburg and Michigan State.
The second straight season that PC is involved with neutral duals in Pennsylvania – having tussled with Franklin & Marshall last winter while also defeating Brown at the same venue – head coach
Mark Cody's group will aim for their second head-to-head victory of the young campaign after getting the better of Sacred Heart back on November 17 by a 29-21 decision.
Presby is already familiar with two-thirds of their opponents whom they'll face off with in 48 hours, competing with both F&M and Michigan State a year ago. In an interesting twist to the squad's layout, PC will return to Lancaster for their next feature after Sunday's triple threat, only forced to wait 33 days for it to occur in a tournament setting.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
- Two of PC's adversaries at the end of the weekend have not yet competed inside a standard dual setting, although with plenty of bracket play to warm them up to Sunday's dual extravaganza. F&M finished right down the middle of a 10-team field on November 19 at the Philadelphia-based Keystone Classic, while Sparty went to West Point, N.Y. on the same day where they put together a fourth-place nod at the Black Knight Invite.
- Bloomsburg is the only school of the group besides Presbyterian to lay claim to one-on-one action, gaining a season-starting 28-18 W over Sacred Heart (meaning they share a mutual win with the Blue Hose), while the Huskies were later overwhelmed by #2 NC State in a 45-4 blowout over their last trip.
- Circling back around to the aforementioned bouts with F&M and MSU in the previous season, Presby was unsuccessful in either of those outcomes as they were unable to hit the double-digit point tally in those instances.
LAST TIME OUT
- Submitting their name to the "Arm Bar at the Armory" back before Thanksgiving in Albany, the Blue Hose followed up their tight win over the Pioneers by taking a 44-5 loss against a red-hot Northern Colorado enemy in the nightcap.
- 174-pounder
Reed Douglass showed that his sophomore season is sure to be one of constant uprise, obtaining two technical falls by a combined clip of 46-14 that gave his club 10 of their 34 points on the evening.
- Elsewhere, 157-pounder
Eli Holiday produced PC's first pin of the semester (logging a 4:33 fall over Sacred Heart), while true freshman
Nathan Carnes followed suit with a pin of his own that cemented that eight-point victory in only two minutes and 18 seconds.
