LANCASTER, Pa. – The Presbyterian College men's wrestling team was dealt a difficult hand on Sunday afternoon at the F&M Duals – hosted by Franklin & Marshall – during a three-match sequence of losses to Bloomsburg (38-8), the Diplomats themselves (34-9), and Michigan State (53-0).

Making the long drive to Lancaster for the first of two visits to Franklin & Marshall over the next month (participating in a tournament for their next event in January), Presby was able to gain four personal wins over the weekend from Ryan Luna, Morvens Saint Jean, Trenton Donahue, and Nathan Carnes.

Luna grasped a 16-point technical in PC's first meet of the day versus the Huskies, his third overall win of an improving sophomore slate and second dual W in the 133-lb. class.

Saint Jean – another second-year Blue Hose under head coach Mark Cody's watch in the heavyweight group – was able to end the Bloomsburg bout on a high note by earning a three-point standard decision in a head-to-head with Tyler McCatharn.

149-pounder Donahue picked up his first win of the young season as his squad faced off with Franklin & Marshall, a 2:36 pin that goes down as Presby's third W via fall through the semester.

After turning heads with a pin that drove the final nail into Sacred Heart's coffin back on November 17 that coincided with his collegiate debut, Carnes grabbed his second PC triumph over F&M's Harrison Shapiro in a tightly-contested 4-2 decision.

Unfortunately for Presbyterian, an outright team win was never established in the trip north, moving their one-on-one record to 1-5.
