CLINTON, S.C. – Senior opposite Kasey Battle of the Presbyterian College volleyball team has been selected as this week's Adidas / Game One PC Student-Athlete of the Week. Battle garnered the award after recording 37 kills and 24 digs in Presbyterian's matches against Furman and Georgia State last week.
 
The Charlotte, North Carolina native tallied 17 kills while posting a .222 hitting percentage and 15 digs in helping the Blue Hose gut out a 3-2 win over Georgia State in the Templeton Center on Saturday. She capped off her performance with the game-winning kill as Presbyterian won the fifth and decisive set, 15-13. Against Furman in a five-set match, she collected 20 kills in the match.
 
This season, Battle has recorded a team-leading 111 kills while adding 53 digs to the Blue Hose's efforts.
The Presbyterian College athletic department partnered with Game One on a multi-year apparel agreement last November as an official team dealer for Adidas. The partnership extended the university's alliance with Adidas which began in 2015 to outfit the Blue Hose athletic programs.
