CLINTON, S.C.   – Senior forward
Damorney Hutchinson set Presbyterian Division I era single-season and career goal-scoring records with a first half goal, but the Blue Hose (4-5-2, Big South: 1-2-1) lost to the USC Upstate Spartans (3-11-0, Big South: 2-3-0), 2-1, at Martin Stadium on Saturday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the 7th minute, USC Upstate's Adrian Panaite gave the Spartans the early lead with a penalty kick goal.
- In the 27th minute, Hutchinson converted on a penalty kick tying the score at one. Hutchinson's goal was his school-record ninth of the season and 16th of his PC career.
- In the 87th minute, USC Upstate's Shayne Abrams scored the game-winning goal.

NOTABLES
- In the 52nd minute, Presbyterian had a great chance to take the lead when sophomore midfielder Sandro Rabarivony's shot from 20 yards out hit the left post.
- Presbyterian finished the game with a 13-7 advantage in shots and a 7-3 advantage in corner kicks. Hutchinson and Rabarivony paced the Blue Hose with three shots apiece.
- With a goal, Hutchinson has nine goals on the season, which moved him past Mason Lewis (2016) to the top of PC's single-season goals list. Then, he passed Sergio Pinto (2016-19) on the Blue Hose's career goal-scoring list with his 16th career goal.
