CHARLESTON, S.C. – Each of the final two regular season duals for the Presbyterian College men's wrestling team will take place outside of the Blue Hose's sanctuary, looking to finish the month of February on a high note as they take on The Citadel and Davidson inside a two-day window on Thursday and Friday.

Mark Cody's group will visit the Bulldogs' den tomorrow for a 3:00 PM start time, transitioning to the finale versus the Wildcats on the following evening at 7:00. SCOUTING THE OPPONENT – THE CITADEL
- Tomorrow's feature in Charleston will be Presbyterian's third consecutive opponent that's already hit the double-digit marker in the win column, visiting a Citadel squad that most recently grinded out a 19-14 decision over Gardner-Webb back on the 16
th.
- After falling to the defending SoCon champions in a one-sided loss to Appalachian State, the Bulldogs responded by defeating VMI, Chattanooga, and Bellarmine in consecutive order, downing the Keydets by 32 and the Knights by 24.
- In fact, The Citadel's only two conference blemishes have come from the two best records in the division (ASU and 24
th-ranked Campbell), progressing through a perfect 5-0 slate when competing on their home gym.
- The Bulldogs have seen improvement in all four seasons that head coach Ryan LeBlanc has been in charge, already witnessing a six-match increase in wins compared to last spring. Thursday's date with PC will be The Citadel's last act before the SoCon Tournament, besting the Blue Hose in Templeton 13 months ago by a 31-11 differential.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT – DAVIDSON
- On the other side of the coin, Davidson hasn't caught as many headlines around the league thanks to a mere 2-14 resume, although coming up on the winning end of their last encounter: a 24-19 barnburner over VMI in Virginia.
- That SoCon victory put an end to a 10-match losing streak that the Wildcats had endured, surging ahead in the final moments behind a 157-pound major decision (12-4) and a match-clinching technical fall in the 165-lb. bout (18-3).
- Head coach Nate Carr's club will go head-to-head with Queens before battling the Blue Hose, the same Charlotte-based squad that fell victim to a 30-15 L against Presby exactly one month ago.
- Davidson met PC in the SoCon opener last season while seeing the opposite end of the spectrum this time in the '24 curtain call, undefeated against their Carolina-border rivals in four attempts.
LAST TIME OUT
- Presbyterian has entered a bit of rough patch (not helped by the team's increasingly-tough strength of schedule), falling to nationally-ranked Campbell in Clinton over the weekend in a result that read 55-0.
- The Blue Hose have been held scoreless in three straight matchups for the first time in the program's young history, forced to deal with numerous injuries to key competitors and a laundry list of worthy foes in rapid succession.
- After finishing out the season against two familiar enemies, PC will turn their attention to the SoCon Tournament on March 9, held at Appalachian State's facility in Boone, North Carolina. In that sequence of 10 brackets, the Blue Hose will aim to advance a wrestler to NCAA Nationals for the first time ever.
