BOONE, N.C. – The Presbyterian College men's wrestling team saw their 2023-24 campaign come to its conclusion on Saturday afternoon at the Southern Conference Championships held at the site of Appalachian State, sending 10 competitors to the brackets.

Caleb Roe embarked on the most impressive path for head coach
Mark Cody's group, notching a 7-over-2 quarterfinal upset against Gardner-Webb's Jha'Quan Anderson before earning another consolation side win later on.
Roe – a sophomore hailing from Arab, Alabama – atoned for a loss to Anderson back in February with a major highlight, pinning the highly-touted Runnin' Bulldog in only 95 seconds to advance to the SoCon semi's.
After coming up short versus Appalachian State's Tomas Brooker, the second-year grappler got the better of Adam Ortega (The Citadel) by a standard 9-5 clip.
The Southern Conference accepts only one bid to the NCAA Championships out of the 184-lb. class, putting an end to Presbyterian's spring schedule.
