CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College men's wrestling team fell victim to a surging Chattanooga opponent in Southern Conference action at Templeton Gymnasium, ending up on the losing side of a 49-0 decision on Friday night.
PC's fourth SoCon affair of the winter, the Blue Hose were unable to produce any points against a Volunteer State visitor who had competed hard against top-25 programs and who recently downed VMI by 18 points in league territory.
The Mocs remain unbeaten against Presbyterian head-to-head at 5-0, combining for 96 points in their last two matches against the blue and garnet.
UTC acquired five victories by major decision on Friday, gaining two other pins in the 184 and 285 classes which both came in the first period.
