BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – Just four Southern Conference matches lie ahead for the Presbyterian College men's wrestling team, enacting two of them over the next three days away from home. The Blue Hose will hope to grab their first league win tomorrow evening at Gardner-Webb, followed by a Sunday afternoon affair versus Campbell.
PC's last SoCon victory came against the Runnin' Bulldogs back in 2023, aiming to repeat that result against an opponent who has dropped their last two encounters in divisional action.
Friday's dual with G-W will be streamed live on ESPN+ at 7:00, while the follow-up match against the Fighting Camels two days later can be viewed on Flo Wrestling at 2:00.

SCOUTING GARDNER-WEBB
- It's been a mixed bag for the Runnin' Bulldogs so far in 2025, displaying four wins although none of them have occurred at their home site (0-3). They earned their first two W's over Kent State and Buffalo pre-Christmas, segueing into a 23-19 result in mid-January that was enough to topple Duke in Durham.
- G-W sprinted past Davidson for their first SoCon triumph (33-7) less than two weeks ago, but faltered in their most recent duals opposite VMI and Appalachian State.
- The Keydets narrowly got by Gardner-Webb thanks to four straight wins on the back half of the lineup, and although heavyweight Peyton McComas was able to secure a 3-1 decision in the final bout, it wasn't enough to take the lead and the board read 22-20 VMI.
- Head coach Daniel Elliott's crew was beaten soundly by the reigning SoCon Tournament champs earlier this week, dropping a 38-8 tally to Appalachian State.
SCOUTING CAMPBELL
- One of two schools in the nine-team conference that is still unbeaten in league play, Campbell will march into this weekend with SoCon stands over Gardner-Webb (31-9), Chattanooga (19-16), Bellarmine (29-10), and Davidson (47-0).
- A seven-match winning streak was stomped out by Rider in the Fighting Camels' most recent outing, dropping a 22-17 final to the Broncs in New Jersey.
- In that loss, Campbell witnessed an early 11-0 advantage disappear as Rider closed the contest on a 19-0 run to steal the win from under head coach Scotti Sentes' nose.
- PC is winless against their orange-and-black adversary in four attempts, coming up on the wrong end of a 55-0 shutout when they last locked horns 12 months ago.
