For the third straight week, Presbyterian Blue Hose acrobatics & tumbling senior
Abby Katz garnered a National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) national award when she was named Honorable Mention Specialist of the Week for the second consecutive week. Two weeks ago, she was the NCATA Specialist of the Week.

Katz, a top and tumbler, is the first athlete in the program's history to capture three NCATA weekly awards. Specialist of the Week is for athletes who highly contribute to one event. Katz contributed as a top for all three Pyramid Heats with scores of 9.65 or higher including a perfect 10.0 in the Open Heat in Presbyterian's win at Talladega this past Saturday.
The Columbia, South Carolina native competed in 13 heats and the Team Event in the meet against Talladega. She was a part of the Pyramid team that recorded the program's third straight perfect 10 in the Open Pyramid Heat. She also set the school's all-time high score with a 9.55 (with a start value of 9.55) in the Tumbling Event Open Pass.
