CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College men's wrestling team was unsuccessful in their pursuit of a Southern Conference win on Thursday night, ending on the losing side of a 46-5 affair against The Citadel.
184-pounder
Reed Douglass continued his convincing case for an all-conference spot by launching a 19-4 technical fall over Brodie Porter. The New York native is now 5-0 in SoCon matches this winter.
Unfortunately for the Blue Hose, no other competitors came away with a W. An injury-ravaged PC roster was forced to forfeit three times and was on the receiving end of three tech's and one fall.
The loss drops Presby to 0-11 on the season. Weather permitting, they'll resume the SoCon stretch this Sunday for a 2:00 start at Chattanooga.
