CHARLOTTE, N.C. – For his school record-breaking performance in last week's Royals Cross Country Challenge on October 9, senior Garrison Fisher was named Big South Runner of the Week as announced by the league office on Thursday afternoon.



Fisher is the third men's cross country runner to earn Big South Runner of the Week honors in the program's history.

For the third time this season, Fisher, a native of Gastonia, North Carolina, set a school record after running a time of 25:10.7 in the 8K race, breaking the school record he set a couple of weeks ago by 45 seconds.
