JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Presbyterian College softball team engaged in their second straight doubleheader on Saturday evening at the Jacksonville Spring Break Challenge, unable to slow down Georgia Southern (5-4) or North Florida (5-0).
PC took on GSU less than 24 hours earlier in an 8-0 result and led the Eagles by a 4-1 count in the rematch, although they'd fall victim to a walk-off double.
The Scotsmen are now 11-13 overall and have played a very tough non-conference schedule, as both
Peyton Duncan and
Kylie Rast pitched complete games on Saturday.
10:00 AM tomorrow will signal the end of Presby's busy weekend in Florida, going head-to-head with Sun Belt rep Southern Miss in what will be the first-ever encounter between the two schools.
