Nick Finotti welcome 20 newcomers to the 2026 roster.

KENSHIN AKIMOTO
Senior Forward – Chiba, Japan – Transfer from Radford University
A 2025 Honorable Mention All-Big South selection. Named Big South Player of the Week on September 22, 2025. Named to the Honorable Mention TopDrawerSoccer.com National Team of the Week on September 23, 2025. Led Radford in goals with six and points with 14 in 2025. Scored two goals and recorded an assist as a sophomore while helping lead Bellevue University to a NAIA Top 10 national ranking. Began his college career at Marshalltown Community College in Iowa, where he scored eight goals and recorded three assists while earning NJCAA Division II All-Tournament honors as a freshman. A graduate of Shoshi High School in Japan, he played club soccer in the Premier League East, which is the top youth league in Japan.

MO ALAHMAD
Freshman Midfielder – Charleston, S.C. – Wando High School
A two-time All-State selection. A three-time All-Region honoree. Named Low Country Player of the Year. Top goal scorer for his club team Surf. Led his high school team in goals as a sophomore and junior. Played in the Clash of Carolina All-Star game.

AYLAN BELAID
Sophomore Midfielder – Montreal, Quebec, Canada – Transfer from Siena College
Played his freshman season at Siena, where he saw action in one game against Boston College. Before Siena, he played three years for the CF Montreal Academy, where he helped them win a Provincial Championship. Played for College Ahuntsic, where he helped lead them to a third-place finish in the provincial championship. Played three years in Portugal at the U19 national and reserve level.

AIDEN BURKE
Freshman Forward – Jefferson, Ga. – Jackson County High School
A three-time All-Region selection at Jackson County. As a senior, he scored 25 goals and dished out 11 assists. Played club soccer for the UFA ECNL.

MICHAEL CASCHERA
Freshman Defender – Bolton, Ontario, Canada – St. Michael's
Played club soccer for Woodbridge Strikers. Helped his club team win a PDP National Championship, an OPDL League Championship and a U20 League Championship.

LOGAN DENDER
Freshman Goalkeeper – Greenville, S.C. – Homeschool
A three-time All-Region selection playing high school soccer for First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest. Four time Team MVP of his high school team. Played club soccer for the Carolina Elite Soccer Academy. Helped his club soccer team reach the ECNL Regionals four times.

DYLAN FURLONGE
Freshman Defender – Boston, Mass. – Transfer from Boston University
Graduated high school early from the Boston Latin School. Played for Boston University last spring. Played club soccer for the MLS Next Boston Bolts.

NICOLAS GRANADINO
Senior Defender – Caracas, Venezuela. – Transfer from Montgomery College
Team captain and a member of the Dean's List. Earned the Raptor Spirit Award. Graduated high school from the Dawere International School in Miami, Florida. Played club soccer for Deportivo Cali.

NICKY GRITZ
Freshman Goalkeeper – Fort Mill, S.C. – Fort Mill High School
A two-time First Team All-Mid Atlantic ECNL. Named State Championship MVP while helping lead his high school team to the State Championship. Played club soccer for the Charlotte Independence. Helped the Independence win three USL Academy championships. Brother of Presbyterian junior forward
Braden Gritz.

ALEX HAND
Freshman Defender – Greenville, S.C. – Wade Hampton High School
As a senior, he was named Region Player of the Year. A team captain. He played club soccer for the Carolina Elite Soccer Academy.

ALEJANDRO ILLAN
Sophomore Midfielder – Madrid, Spain – Transfer from Briar Cliff University
As a freshman at Briar Cliff, he was named GPAC Newcomer of the Year and First Team All-Conference while scoring 14 goals and dishing out six assists. Helped lead Briar Cliff to the semifinals of the GPAC Tournament. Played club soccer for C.D. Leganes.

OBIEDA JARAH
Senior Defender – Amman, Jordan – Transfer from UTRGV
Saw action in four games with two starts at UTRGV as a junior. Played two seasons for USC Sumter. Named Player of the Year at USC Sumter as a sophomore. Helped his USC Sumter as team captain win the first conference championship in school history. Called up to play for the Jordan U20 national team. Helped Jordan reach the semifinals of the West Asian Tournament.

EMMANUEL LIVINGSTON
Freshman Defender – Fort Mill, S.C. – Catawba Ridge High School
Played club soccer for Queen City Mutiny. Played two years for the Charlotte FC Academy

EVAN MACGLASHAN
Freshman Defender – Caledon, Ontario, Canada – Robert F. Hall Catholic High School
Played club soccer for Sigma FC. Defensive MVP of the 2023 FTF Toronto Winter Combine. Ranked among the Top 60 players in the FTF. Named to the 2023 Future Stars youth all-star team. Helped his club team capture two Garry Miller Charity Shield Championships.

ALI MERGHEMI
Senior Midfielder – Montreal, Quebec, Canada – Transfer from Salt Lake Community College
Named First Team All-Conference and All-Region after scoring eight goals and dishing out seven assists as a sophomore. Helped lead his team in two regional championships, one conference title and a berth in the national tournament. Played club soccer for FC Laval.

PRESTON NOWICKI
Freshman Midfielder – Mount Pleasant, S.C. – Oceanside Collegiate Academy
Selected to the United States Youth Futsal team. Helped Oceanside capture the 2024 state championship. Played club soccer for the Charleston Soccer Club. Helped his club team reach the semifinals of the 2024 NPL Nationals.

GUI PEDROSO
Freshman Midfielder – Fuquay-Varina, N.C. – Fuquay-Varina High School
Invited to trial for the MLS club team Charlotte FC and the USL Championship team NCFC; played two seasons and played on the USL2 team for his U17 season. Helped his club team beat MLS academy teams Montreal, Atlanta United, and Nashville.

JORDAN TEMA
Freshman Defender – Frederick, Md. – Governor Thomas Johnson High School
Played club soccer for Achilles MLS Next team. Played a major role in helping his club team reach the State Cup Finals twice. Named Second Team All-Frederick County and his school's Player of the Year as a senior.

KENJY VERTIL-DORELUS
Junior Midfielder – Montreal, Quebec, Canada – Transfer from Montgomery College
Named First Team All-Region, Third Team All-Conference and the Conference All-Tournament team at Montgomery College. As a sophomore, he helped Montgomery College win a District and Regional Championship to earn a berth in the nationals. As a freshman, he helped lead Montgomery College to a conference championship. Played club soccer for AS Laval.

TY WILSON
Senior Midfielder – Marietta, Ga. – Transfer from Georgia Southern University
Saw action in 34 games with 14 starts in three seasons at Georgia Southern. As a freshman, he led Georgia Southern in points with seven after scoring three goals and tallying one assist. As a sophomore he recorded an assist against Coastal Carolina. Graduated high school from the YSC Academy. Played club soccer for the Atlanta United Academy.
