PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose opened the 2026-27 season with a team score of 292 (+4) in the first round of the Golfweek Fall Challenge at True Blue Golf Course on Sunday afternoon. Presbyterian sits in ninth place following the opening round, with senior Spence Hagood leading the way after carding an even-par 72 to finish tied for 26th.

Georgia Southern leads the field with a first-round score of 272 (-16).  

Notables

• Hagood recorded four birdies and 12 pars on his opening round.
• Juniors Jeep Patrick and Gage Gaskins are tied for 33rd place after posting one-over-par rounds of 73. Patrick collected three birdies and 12 pars on his round. Gaskins tallied four birdies and 10 pars on his opening round.
• Senior Avery Barnes and sophomore James Rhodes are tied for 42nd place after posting opening round scores of 74 (+2). Barnes had one birdie and 14 pars on his round. Rhodes picked up three birdies and 11 pars on his round.
