Spring 2021: Opened the XC season with a 35:00.1 at the Winthrop Invite… improved to a 30:09.7 in the Big South Championship… posted a 56.70 in the 400 meters at the CIU Rams Invitational… in the 800 meters at the Weems Baskin Relays, Taber posted a 2:12.43… finished the 400 meters at the USC Open with a 54.65….

2019-20: Ran a 18:51.2 at the Carolina Challenge… Finished 14^th at the Big South Preview as he ran a 30:14.42… Posted a 30:42 at the Queen City Invite… Posted a season-best at the Royals Challenge as he ran a 28:28.3…

2018-19: Ran 28:55 (96th) at the Vertcross Invite ... Improved to run a season's best 28:34 (45th) at the Big South Championship ... Ran 35:27.1 (216th) in the 10k at the NCAA Division I SE Regionals ... Ran in one indoor track meet ... Finished in 56.00 (400m) at the Carolina Challenge ... Ran in three outdoor track meets ... Crossed in 4:36.08 (1500m) and was a member of the team's 4x800m team that finished in 8:25.77 at the Coastal Carolina Invitational ... Ran 55.46 (400m) and 4:41.20 (1500m) at the CIU Invitational ... Ran a DI best for the program with a time of 54.24 (400m) at the Gamecock Invitational and also completed the 800m in 2:08.93.

2017-18: Ran 28:50 (38th) at the Eye Opener ... Ran 30:47 (49th) at the Winthrop Invitational ... Ran a 4-mile of 23:14 at the Asheville Invitational ... Improved to run 29:30 (15th) at the Will Wilson Invitational ... Ran a PR of 27:15 (66th) at the Queen City Invite ... Finished the season running 29:28 (58th) at the Big South Championship.

HIGH SCHOOL: Ran six seasons of cross country and track at Riverside High School for head coach Eric Cummings … PR of 16:08 came with a third place finish at the 2015 Starlight Reservation Run … Two-time team captain … Top-5 runner on two SCHSL State Cross Country Championship teams (2014, 2016) … Ran 16:39 as a senior at the State Meet to finish 20th and was chosen to participate in the SC Shrine Bowl Run.

PERSONAL: Thomas “Neel” Taber was born to Diedre and Tom Taber in Greer, SC … Has two older sisters, Hannah and Haley … Hannah runs for Converse College … Plans to be Pre-Med.
