2022: Appeared in eight matchups as an offensive substitute, pulling double-duty as a pitcher in three of them...Secured the game-clinching run during a 9-8 triumph over Hampton (3/20), her second time rounding the bases in as many appearances up to that point...Tossed against two Big South opponents (Longwood on 4/16 and USC Upstate on 5/7), allowing only a single hit altogether on zero errors.

2021: Did not see any game action due to injury. 

2020: Made four relief appearances for PC ... Posted a 2.92 ERA in 12.0 innings of work ... Went 3.1 innings without allowing an earned run in season debut against Robert Morris ... Struck out a season-high three in 4.1 innings against Central Arkansas, her longest outing of the season. 

2019: Appeared in 35 games, starting 24 … Tied for the team lead with 11 complete games and pitched a total of 112.0 innings, second-most on the team … Worked a career-high 7.0 innings four times … Struck out a career-high seven against SC State.

High School: Earned letters in softball and volleyball ... Was a pitcher/first baseman on the softball team, and a middle blocker on the volleyball team ... Named MVP and earned the Best Offensive and Best Defensive awards ... Also earned the Most Spirited award and was named Most Improved ... Softball team was league champion 2014-2016 ... Had a 1.10 ERA in three years on the softball team ... Recorded 17 home runs as a freshman and sophomore ... Batted .475 as a sophomore ... Volleyball team was CIF Champion in 2016 ... On the AP curriculum track, she was on the honor roll every year ... Member of the FCA and Think Pink ... Also worked with Laura's House and was an elementary school ministry counselor.

Personal: Taylor Nicole Ward was born in Mission Viejo, Calif. ... Daughter of Patrick and Julie Ward ... Chose PC because she loved the family environment, the small community, the beautiful campus and fell in love with the coaching staff very quickly ... Intends to major in Psychology.
