Biography

2025: Now firmly the PC ace in year three, Duncan started 29 games (the seventh-most in all of NCAA and the second-highest number in a single season for a pitcher in school history)...Charted 163.2 innings which led to an ERA of 3.68...Stacked up 123 strikeouts, good enough for second-place among all pitchers in the Big South...Posted 41 backward K's (also second in the division) and ended her junior round with a career-best 12 individual wins...Averaged 5.2 innings per appearance, logging 14 complete games and at least eight strikeouts on five different occasions...Her longest shift of the season came against Gardner-Webb in the heart of Big South play (8.1 innings), going on to throw a minimum of six full frames in each of her last five showings...Struck out a season-high 10 batters apiece versus Norfolk State and North Carolina A&T...Opponents hit .249 off of Duncan in nearly 650 at-bats, issuing 35 fewer free passes than her number of strikeouts...Acquired a complete-game shutout in a Valentine's Day victory over ETSU...Had a three-game stretch versus USC Upstate, Wofford, and Charleston Southern where she totaled 17 innings and only two earned runs allowed...Against nine separate opponents, Duncan combined for at least six innings and two or fewer earned runs...Struck out 41 players in Big South action, only giving up two home runs in 19 non-conference games in which she appeared...Grabbed nine strikeouts in a complete-game win at Winthrop in the penultimate series of the spring, naming her the Adidas / Game One PC Student-Athlete of the Week...Chosen to the Big South All-Academic Team thanks to a strong 3.84 GPA in Biology...Named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.

2024: Rose up the bullpen ranks as a sophomore to the tune of 15 starts and 27 showings overall, throwing a full 85 innings and picking up three more individual wins...Never left the circle in non-conference W's over Queens and Drexel, conceding just three hits against the Dragons and walking only four out of 58 combined batters in those two appearances...Struck out a career-high 10 opponents during an in-state duel with South Carolina State (Apr. 3), part of 63 K's in total for the year...Allowed three earned runs or less on 19 different dates, doing so in seven straight appearances during the meat of the Big South schedule...Walked less than four batters in eight out of her nine conference matchups, lasting five full frames at Gardner-Webb (Apr. 27) in the penultimate series of the semester...Chosen as Presbyterian's Adidas / Game One Student-Athlete of the Week on April 1 after limiting Longwood to a single hit over the first six innings of a commanding 6-1 triumph in Virginia, nearly acquiring a wire-to-wire shutout as she forced the Lancers into a 1-2-3 sequence four times...Landed a spot on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team in her first year of being eligible for the honor, holding a perfect 4.0 GPA for the entire season.

2023: Achieved the lowest ERA (2.66) of any PC pitcher during her freshman season entailing 55.1 innings of work, claiming a personal record of 6-2...Tossed a pair of shutouts when going head-to-head with IUPUI (Feb. 18) and Cornell six days later, the former representing her first Blue Hose start and a season-best eight strikeouts...Played reliever in 12 matchups while starting five, gathering 39 K's altogether to help Presbyterian collect its second-highest strikeout total over a sole season...Earned her first collegiate save on Feb. 22 in a one-score decision against Western Carolina, entering the contest in the top of the 7th with the bases loaded and zero outs tallied before sending back three straight WCU batters without a hit conceded...Scooped up her first Big South triumph on April 6 in Clinton after taking down Radford in a one-score thriller...Threw 23 consecutive innings without an earned run allowed to begin her college career.
