Biography

2024-25: Returned to her winning ways as a junior in her first full season since 2023, leading the roster with 19 technical falls and posting a personal record of 31-10 (the second time in her career with a win count exceeding the number 30)...Dominated nearly every tournament that she entered, balancing between class 138 and 145 en route to a couple of individual titles and two other silver standings...Bettered her performance at the Southeast Regional bracket compared to her freshman year by coming in 2nd place, leading to a 6th-place effort at Nationals and her second All-American distinction...Began the season with 12 wins in her first 14 tries, later going on a 13-match winning streak that spanned nearly six weeks...During that fiery run, Wehrmeister defeated five opponents that represented a top-25 school, including a major highlight against #1 Iowa when she bested Ella Schmidt with a 12-1 technical (Iowa would go on to claim the 2025 team National Championship)...Won her first three encounters at Nationals to guarantee her second All-America accolade, landing two 11-0 tech's and an 8-7 decision against Iowa's Nanea Estrella...Eleven of her final 16 wins occurred via technical fall, now holding seven first-place tournament titles in her college career...Was one of six PC All-Americans for a squad that confirmed its best-ever National finish (6th-place), adding eight pins to her stellar season.

2023-24: Followed up her terrific rookie year with a 7-3 start, forced to end the season prematurely due to injury...Took 5th-place at the Princeton Open to begin her shortened sophomore stint, going on to defeat two nationally-ranked foes in dual play (#5 Sacred Heart and #11 Lindenwood)...All but two of her W's came via technical, giving her 30 TF's over her first two seasons with the Blue Hose.

2022-23: Authored the most accomplished true freshman season by a Presbyterian wrestler in school history, leading the roster in class 136 with a final record of 38-5 and a #3 national ranking...Remained inside the NWCA's countrywide top five for the entirety of her debut campaign, thanks in part to 25 victories via technical fall (at least 17 more than any other competitor amongst a record-setting club)...Claimed a first-place prize at five different tournaments throughout the year, concluding her extraordinary first go-around with a bronze medal at the NCWWC National Championships (March 4)...Penned a 15-match winning streak right out of the gates, going 54 consecutive days to begin the season without taking a loss...Ended with her hand raised in 15 out of her final 16 matches approaching the national tournament that included a 3rd-place standing at the Southeast Regional bracket...Compiled a win percentage of 88% over the course of 43 matches, responsible for nearly half of Presbyterian's 53 technical fall triumphs...Grappled her way to a 25-3 record when inside tournament competition beside a 13-2 mark in one-on-one encounters.

Prior to PC: Enjoyed a phenomenal prep career at Parkway West High School in Ballwin, Mo., qualifying for State Championships throughout all four years while capturing the district title three times...Achieved State Championship status on two separate occasions, named as the conference Wrestler of the Year twice...As the team captain over her junior and senior campaigns, she placed 7th at Junior Nationals Fargo in 2021 before placing 4th at Super32 later that same year...During a stellar 2022 stint, she was the National Folkstyle Champion in the 138-lb. weight class, as well as the National Girls Recruitment Showcase Champion...Placed 6th in the '22 62kg UWW event...Ended her high school tenure with a record of 111-9, going undefeated across her final two seasons...Graduated with a perfect 4.0 GPA while receiving the Founder's Award and the 2022 Physical Education Student of the Year award...Was a member of the Jazz Choir, serving four years on student council.

Personal: Hobbies include rock climbing, hiking, reading, playing card games, and watching Netflix...Born on October 24, 2003...Daughter of Adam and Jennifer Wehrmeister.
