2025: Played a similar role to the previous year in terms of body of work, competing in 27 contests and making 12 starts at catcher...Hit over .200 in 44 plate appearances, ending her junior season with five extra-base swings and 12 runs-batted-in...Had her most well-rounded performance on a neutral field versus Rhode Island, cranking a double and a 6th-inning solo homer...Saw three hits against Big South opponents and drove in two scores in an 8-6 thriller over eventual league champion USC Upstate...Found a season-high three RBI in a non-conference W over Maryland-Eastern Shore...In 68 opportunities, Mattas committed only one error on the defensive end of the field (.985 fielding percentage).

2024: Started 11 times at catcher and made 24 total appearances after entering PC's program from Newberry...As a sophomore, Mattas assembled six hits and walked thrice, scoring a run in her Blue Hose debut against Norfolk State (Feb. 9)...Her 2024 highlight came in a non-conference victory over Morehead State (Feb. 18), blasting a three-run homer in the bottom of the 3rd as Presby run-ruled the Eagles 9-1 and Mattas grabbed her first multi-hit effort in a blue and garnet uniform...Doubled in a neutral environment versus Marist (March 8), going on to reach home plate as a pinch-runner in PC's final W of the campaign over Radford (8-4 on May 3)...Helped the Scotsmen achieve their best-ever single-year fielding percentage by accounting for 73 putouts and six assists on the defensive end.

Prior to PC: Spent her freshman season at nearby Newberry College and delivered right from the get-go, batting .380 in 44 starts at catcher before landing a spot on the All-South Atlantic Conference second team list...Published 62 hits (the second-most on the roster), leading the Wolves with a whopping 10 longballs and 19 doubles as well...Slugged .681 to reach an OPS of 1.090, hitting two dingers against UVA Wise and going for 16 multi-hit performances...Herded in three scores or more on seven separate dates, tying the team-high with 46 RBI and leading the way with 111 total bases...Brought in five runs against UNC Pembroke in her first of seven showings with three hits in a single game, going on to better that mark by posting six RBI against Alderson Broaddus on the same day where she secured three of her team-high 43 runs...Seven of her 10 homers came against league opponents, earning a nod to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Second Team All-Region unit...Began her collegiate career with a hit in each of her first nine appearances, batting .468 over her first 11 games...Posted yet another nine-game hitting streak in mid-March where she hit .441 over that span...Over her last 10 outings, she tallied at least one hit in nine of them, scoring at least one run 63 percent of the time while scooping at minimum one RBI in 21 different bouts...Committed just one error in 214 chances behind the dish, logging 194 putouts and catching six runners attempting to steal.
