2025: Enjoyed a solid beginning to her Blue Hose career while mostly playing second base, starting 25 games and appearing in 36 altogether...Achieved 22 hits, five doubles, 12 runs scored, and 29 total bases during her rookie year...Batted .275 in 80 plate appearances, posting three multi-hit efforts in a four-game window versus Longwood and College of Charleston...Notched a season-best three RBI against the Cougars, including a two-run double in the top of the 7th that allowed PC to squeeze out a 7-6 road victory...Had her best individual performance in an 8-1 blowout over Furman, scoring three runs and also hitting a triple at home...Hit .439 over a 15-game stretch in April (18-for-41), a sequence that included three Big South series.

Prior to PC: An all-region performer in each of her four seasons at Jefferson High School, Burton mustered a .390 BA over her last two prep years with 11 home runs, 52 scores batted in, 17 doubles, and eight triples for the Dragons. Also lettering in basketball, she is a two-time champ with Colorado Sparkler and was a Blitz NE player of the year nominee. Prior to her signing on the dotted line for the Blue Hose, Burton was ranked the 20^th-best third-baseman nationally.

Personal: Born on November 2, 2005...Intends to major in Medical Physics at Presbyterian and aspires to be an anesthesiologist assistant...Daughter of Andy and Cheryl Burton.
