Zachery James joined the Presbyterian College Sports Medicine Staff in the summer of 2017. He currently serves as the Head Football Athletic Trainer. Previously, he worked with the men's basketball, women's golf, men's cross country and women's basketball teams.
Prior to coming to PC, James completed three years as a resident athletic trainer at The Citadel. While working with the Bulldogs he was the primary athletic trainer for the men’s basketball program, while assisting with other sports such as, football, cross county, track & field, and the Corps Cadets.
James received a Bachelor of Science in athletic training degree from the University of South Carolina in 2014. While a student athletic trainer at South Carolina, he gained clinical experience working with USC football, women’s soccer, and campus recreation sports, as well as, off campus rotations with Benedict College football, and both Brookland-Cayce and Heathwood-Hall Episcopal High Schools.
