Quinton Ferrell

Quinton Ferrell is in his fifth season as an assistant coach with the men’s basketball program at PC and his third as the second assistant.

Ferrell joined the Blue Hose coaching staff after a productive four years on the PC men’s basketball team. A three-year starter at point guard for PC, Ferrell is regarded as one of the best defenders to ever play at PC under Nibert.

Ferrell was on the 2005-06 Blue Hose basketball team that advanced to the NCAA Division II South Atlantic Regional Semifinals. He was also a senior captain on the 2006-07 Blue Hose squad that finished with 20 wins for the second consecutive season.

During his last three years, the Blue Hose compiled a 38-3 mark in the Templeton Center. Ferrell led PC in assists and steals during the 2005-06 season and also led the team in steals again during the 2006-07 campaign.

Ferrell graduated in May of 2007 from PC with a bachelors of science degree in accounting. A 2003 graduate of North Augusta High School, Ferrell was named South Carolina All-State after a senior season that saw the North Augusta,. S.C. native average 17 points, eight rebounds and eight assists.
