Presbyterian –
2025-26: Member of Presbyterian’s Big South Championship team…Competed in six tournaments, including playing a round in the NCAA Regionals…Averaged 77.9 strokes per round…Recorded two rounds in the sixties, including a season-low round of 67 in the third round, helping him finish tied for seventh place at the Golfweek Fall Challenge.  

Before PC: In his two standout seasons at Virginia Wesleyan, Barnes tallied nine Top 10 finishes. He finished in the Top five seven times, the Top three six times, and captured one individual title. In March of 2025, he captured the Marlins Invitational title, posting a two-round score of 143 (-1). For his performance, he was named ODAC Men’s Golfer of the Week on November 19. As a freshman, he also earned ODAC Men’s Golfer of the Week accolades on March 20, 2024. Before playing for Virginia Wesleyan, he enjoyed an outstanding prep career at Raleigh, North Carolina’s Leesville Road High School.
