Biography

2024: Hangs up her PC helmet as one of the program's all-time most consistent competitors, leading the way as a senior in batting average (.298), runs scored (25), doubles (11), slugging percentage (.397), walks (34), OBP (.440), and stolen bases (five)...Those 34 walks were the second-most in the Big South - as well being inside the nation's top 50 - allowing the North Carolinian to break the school's single-season record in that category and become Presby's new career leader with 103 walks in four years...Finishes her Presbyterian career with the fourth-best BA of any player to come through the program (.307 in 472 at-bats), keeping PC's all-time-best career OBP rate (.434)...In PC's Division I history (since 2008), she ranks fifth in doubles (25), seventh in hits (145), and eighth in runs (89)...Tucker reached base successfully in 42 contests during her final season in Clinton, producing nine multi-hit games (third-highest number on the squad) while going for an 11-game streak of reaching base at least once...Calculated another team-high .837 OPS, entrusted to lay down 12 sacrifice hits on the calendar...Scored a run in five consecutive meetings during the non-conference portion of the schedule, ending the semester with 39 hits (12 of the extra-base variety) alongside 52 total bases...Remarkably, Tucker remained in the starting lineup for every single outing that she appeared in since 2021, spanning 179 total games at the second-base position...Over a two-week period prior to league play, she tallied either a walk or hit (or both) in 11 consecutive games, scoring seven times against divisional foes while doubling four times in that window...Was PC's representative on the All-Big South Academic Team for the second straight spring, lining up a 3.91 GPA with a biology major and chemistry minor...Made the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team for the second time in a row, remaining on the Big South Presidential Honor Roll for her entire collegiate tenure.

2023: Continued her iron-woman reputation as a starter in every game of all three seasons donning the blue and garnet, a constant model of consistency at the #2 spot in the order...Posted a .395 on-base percentage next to 23 walks, figures that led the way for the Blue Hose...Accomplished the second-highest batting average on the roster (.281) while also ranking second in total hits (36), doubles (five), and stolen bases (eight)...Assumed a .375 OBP strictly in Big South matchups while connecting on 13 hits across the last 20 games of the semester...Strung together a six-game hitting streak during the heart of that league slate, occurring after a career-long sequence of 14 bouts in a row where she reached base at least once throughout the nonconference layout...Secured the third-most runs on the squad (18) while touching 41 bases and smacking five doubles, grasping a .951 fielding percentage on 73 putouts and 43 assists...Found home plate three times in the same affair twice (matching a career-best for a single game), tying another personal-high three hits versus three different adversaries...Batted .342 over the month of March...Included on the Big South's All-Academic team after landing a 3.88 Biology GPA, also added to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District squad for combined achievements on the field and in the classroom.

2022: Featured as one of the most potent offensive weapons from a team that set a new PC record for wins in a single season with 36, finding a .360 batting average (second-highest mark on the squad) in 51 starts at second base...Set a pair of Presbyterian single-year records by reaching an on-base percentage of .482 while drawing 29 walks, leading all Big South competitors in both categories...Finished the spring with a team-high 38 runs scored, a figure that placed fifth among all conference performers...Selected as a member of All-Big South second team unit after securing 49 hits - eight of them via the extra-base variety - next to a perfect 7-for-7 stolen-base effort...Drove in 10 scores primarily batting second in the PC order, striking out just 20 times in 136 plate appearances...Twice named Big South Player of the Week (March 7 & April 4), batting a collective .592 on 10 runs, two doubles, a triple, and six RBI in those respective weeks...Saved some of her best work for Big South opponents, hitting .394 on a .511 on-base clip in 27 league outings...Saw 13 multi-hit performances while concluding the semester on an eight-game hitting streak and 10-game streak of reaching base at least once...Gathered 61 putouts and a team-high 58 assists defensively, committing a single error across the final 21 games of the year.

2021: Big South All-Freshman Team selection ... Big South Freshman of the Week recipient ... Started all 29 games she played in, starting 25 at 2B at four at SS ... Hit .270, second on the team, and collected 20 hits, fourth-most on the team ... Drew a team-high 17 walks and posted a team-best .407 on-base percentage, which ranked 10th in the Big South ... Recorded five multi-hit games ... Had a six-game on-base streak, second-longest by a Blue Hose, and reached base multiple times in 10 games ... Laid down seven sacrifice bunts, second-most on the team ... Scored for the first time in her collegiate career in first game as a collegian on Opening Day against Columbia International ... Later that day, picked up the first two hits and first RBI of her career while also scoring two more runs ... Reached base four times (two singles, two walks), stole the first base of her collegiate career and scored twice in a win at Gardner-Webb.

High School: In first three years at South Stanly, owned a .534 batting average and .611 on-base percentage with 125 hits, 70 RBIs and 112 runs scored … Three-time All-Conference, All-County and All-State selection … Two-time District 6 Player of the Year (2018-19) … Second Team All-Region as a sophomore (2018) … Selected to the All-District Team as a freshman … Named team's Offensive Player of the Year three times … Owned a 4.5 GPA and ranked in the top-10 of her class … Academic All-American … Member of the National Honor Society and National Technical Honor Society.
