Biography

2024–25: Boteler competed in all nine tournaments for the Blue Hose during her senior season... She led the team in scoring at the Tot Hill Farm Invitational, the Low Country Invitational, and the Big South Championship... Her best performance came at Tot Hill Farm, where she shot 77, 74, and 73 for a season-low 224 total... She also impressed at the Big South Championship, carding rounds of 77, 76, and 78 for a 231... Boteler broke 80 in six tournaments and was a consistent presence in the lineup.

2023-24: Played in all 10 tournaments for the Blue Hose throughout the 2023-24 season... took a season-low of 73 in both the second rounds of the UNCG Invitational and the Big South Championship... her season-low three-round score was at the Big South Championship where she finished with a score of 230 (82-73-75)... opened the spring slate with three straight three round scores of 231 including being runner up in the individual leaderboards at the Bright's Creek Intercollegiate with a score of 231 (78-76-77)... she followed that up with a score of 231 (78-75-78) at the Low Country Intercollegiate and a score of 231 (81-75-75) at the Babs Steffens Invitational... recorded four top 10 finishes this season... held her fourth place spot in Presbyterian's Division I record book for her career stroke average with a 77.83 average over 78 rounds.

2022-23: One of three Blue Hose to play in all nine tournaments throughout the 2022-23 season… closed out the fall opener with a career-low 69 (-2) as she finished with a score of 228 (79-80-69) at the Golfweek Fall Challenge… posted a 70 (-1) during her second round at the Elon Invitational as she tallied a 222 (79-70-73) to finish in 13th place… had her third straight tournament with an under-par round with a 70 (-2) in the second round of the Buccaneer Classic as she finished with a 228 (80-70-78) to finish in a tie for eighth place… closed out the fall with a score of 235 (83-73-79) at the Terrier Intercollegiate… began the spring with a tie for 12th at the Sea Best Intercollegiate where she posted a score of 224 (75-74-75)… led the Blue Hose with a runner up finish in the individual leaderboard at the Bright’s Creek Intercollegiate scoring 228 (77-72-79) as PC won the event which was the first team event win since the 2008-09 season… posted a score of 159 (87-72) in the condensed Low Country Intercollegiate… finished with a 245 (81-81-83) at the Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate… closed out her season with a 69 (-3) in the final round of stroke play at the Big South Championship where she tallied a 232 (81-82-69) to finish in a tie for 18th… her 76.96 scoring average ranks eighth in the Blue Hose DI record book for single-season scoring… with her two 69’s during the 22-23 season she is one of only two golfers in PC’s DI history to post a 69 or lower in an individual round… named to the league’s all-academic team…WGCA All-American Scholar. 

2021-22: Played in all four fall tournaments… opened the fall with a score of 229 (73-75-81) to finish tied for 53rd at the Golfweek Challenge… tied for 14th at the Elon Invitational with a score of 229 (72-72-85)… Led the Blue Hose at the Buccaneer Classic with a 227 (77-75-75)… led PC at the Terrier Intercollegiate with a 226 (77-77-72) which placed her in a tie for 21st… recorded a 167 (82-85) to begin the spring season at the Bright Creek Women’s Invite… won a match at the Oyster Shuck match play as PC finished in fifth overall… finished the Low Country Intercollegiate with a 250 (86-77-87)… led PC at the Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate with a 236 (85-73-78) to finish in a tie for 31st… finished in a tie for 24th at the Big South Championship with a team best score of 231 (79-75-77)… named to the conference’s all-freshman team…WGCA All-American Scholar. 

High School: Two-time All-State selection (2019, 2020) … Three-time Region Champion (2018-20) … All-Region selection (2015-20), All-Upstate selection (2016-20) and four-time Greenville News All-Upstate Girls Golf Team (2016-20) … Helped JL Mann to a state runner-up finish (2016) and two region championships (2017, 2020) … Best 18-hole score is 69 and best 9-hole score is 32 … Boasts a 76.05 scoring average, 2.65 Junior Golf Scoreboard Scoring Differential and 0.2 Handicap … Ranked 14th overall in the state of South Carolina and 8th in the Class of 2021 … Ranked 25th by the Carolinas Golf Association, 90th by PKB Bell National Performance Index and 774th by the National Junior Golf Scoreboard … Also played basketball, earning the Best Offense award … Received an Academic Letter for having a GPA above 4.5 … Member of the Beta Club, Youth in Government and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
