William Davis joined the Presbyterian College Sports Medicine Staff as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in July of 2019. He acts as the primary athletic trainer for the men’s soccer and softball teams.
Prior to coming to PC, Davis served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Holy Names University in Oakland, Calif. During his stint at Holy Names, he worked primarily with the men’s soccer & men’s and women’s tennis programs. During his time in California William also provided per-diem coverage to local high schools and youth camps. He earned a Master of Education degree from Holy Names in May 2019.
Davis a native of Naperville, Illinois received a Bachelor of Science in Education and Human Science with a concentration in Athletic Training from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in May 2017. While serving as a student athletic trainer with the Cornhuskers, William worked with the football, women’s swimming & diving, track & field, and women’s soccer programs. He also served an off campus rotation at Lincoln High School.
William earned his national certification as an athletic trainer in 2017 and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and the South Carolina Athletic Trainers' Association.
