Brandon Burke completed his third academic year at Presbyterian College in the 2024-25 athletic season. Among other game operations duties, Burke is the official sports information media contact for the Blue Hose football, women's soccer, women's wrestling, men's wrestling, softball, and lacrosse programs.
Burke arrived at Presbyterian in August 2022 after serving as a media communications intern at the University of Tennessee at Martin during the prior school year, an NCAA Division I institution out of the Ohio Valley Conference where he enacted SID tasks for the Skyhawk women's soccer, baseball, and women's tennis teams. Burke was a member of the official statistics crew at the 2022 OVC Basketball Championship in Evansville, Indiana, as well as the public address announcer at the league's Softball Championship in Oxford, Alabama.
Burke received both a Bachelor's degree in Media Communications and a Master's diploma in Business Administration (concentration: sports management) from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee. Burke began his career in athletics media as a Graduate Assistant in the SID department at LMU from 2019-21. There, he served as the media contact for the Railsplitters' softball and women's soccer programs, as well as providing play-by-play for all home basketball events. While pursuing his undergraduate studies, Burke pioneered the sports segment of "LMU Community TV News" at the Sigmon Communications radio station in Harrogate. As a senior, he was named an honorary instructor of the "Multi-Camera Production" course at Lincoln Memorial. He also worked video/photography at the 2016 NCAA Division II National Basketball Championship in Frisco, Texas, performing similar duties at the South Atlantic Conference Basketball Championship in 2016, 2017, & 2018.
A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, Brandon graduated from Lee High School in Jonesville, Virginia before obtaining two degrees from Lincoln Memorial. He currently resides in Clinton. Burke's fiancé, Josie Rollins, currently serves as the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance & Legal Services at Marshall University.
