Bryan Liriano

Bryan Liriano-Hernandez

Liriano returns to the Presbyterian College Blue Hose baseball program in 2025 after a successful tenure at George Washington University. Initially joining the Revolutionaries as a volunteer assistant coach, Liriano's talent and dedication quickly earned him a promotion to full-time assistant coach prior to the 2024 season.

In his first season back with the Blue Hose in 2025, Liriano guided redshirt freshman Tyrell Williams to a spot on the Big South All-Freshman Team. He also saw his pitchers compete in one of their best performances of the year in the team's 11–8 victory over #23 Alabama. The Blue Hose defense held the Crimson Tide to just one earned run over the final 6.2 innings of play, led by Sean Hollister who tossed the final 4.2 innings of the game while allowing no earned runs on just one hit and striking out two opponents.

During his time with George Washington, Liriano made a significant impact. He was responsible for overseeing the outfielders while also assisting with the pitching staff. Under his guidance, the team surpassed the 30-win mark for the first time since 2019 and made its first appearance in the Atlantic 10 Championship since 2018.

Before his accomplishments at George Washington, Liriano served as the Director of Baseball Operations at Presbyterian College. Working closely with Coach Pollock, he was instrumental in coordinating team activities and played a key role in the team's scouting process.

Liriano is a Newberry College graduate, where he excelled as a right-handed pitcher for the Wolves. His experience on the mound has shaped his approach to coaching, providing him with a deep understanding of the game from a player's perspective.

In addition to his time at Newberry, Liriano has amassed valuable coaching experience with the Michigan Monarchs of the Great Lakes Collegiate League and Florida Southwestern State College.
