Morgan Norris

Morgan Norris joined the Presbyterian College women's wrestling coaching staff after serving as both a student-athlete and student assistant with the Blue Hose. She currently serves as an Assistant Coach while pursuing her Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree at Presbyterian. While serving as a student assistant coach, she has helped develop 15 Collegiate All-Americans while contributing to the continued success of one of the nation's premiere NCAA women's wrestling programs.

During her high school career, Norris represented Team USA as a member of the 2018 U17 World Team, was named Outstanding Wrestler at the 2018 USA Women's Wrestling Nationals, finished as a 2019 Fargo National Finalist, earned two Fargo All-American honors, captured the USA Wrestling Western Regional Triple Crown, and became a six-time USA Wrestling All-American. She graduated ranked 7th in the recruiting class of 2019. As one of only three girls on her high school boys' wrestling team, Norris was elected varsity team captain by her teammates.

Norris continued her success at the collegiate level by capturing the 2020 Women's Collegiate Wrestling Association (WCWA) National Championship as a freshman while earning NCWWC All-America honors. She is a 2021 US Olympic Team Trials qualifier, competing among the nation's top senior-level wrestlers.

Beyond wrestling, Norris earned her Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Political Science from Presbyterian College in 2024, graduating cum laude in both fields while completing minors in Public Health and Athletic Coaching. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree, where her doctoral capstone examines the influence of weight-management practices on health, injury risk, and occupational performance in collegiate women's wrestling.

Norris is passionate about developing student-athletes both on and off the mat by combining her experience as a national champion, coach, and future occupational therapist to promote athletic performance, leadership, and long-term well-being.
