Shayla Snow is in her first season as Presbyterian’s acrobatics and tumbling coach. Snow was a member of Presbyterian’s inaugural acrobatics & tumbling team and is the third head coach in the program’s history.
“We love it when a Blue Hose returns home to become a part of our athletic department staff,” Nichols said. “Shayla Snow was a member of our inaugural Acrobatics and Tumbling team in 2020; she understands what it means to be a Blue Hose. Her coaching experience after graduating from PC has been with two winning programs under the tutelage of former PC Assistant Coach, Sierra Bombard. She can identify recruits with the talent, character, and academic prowess that it takes to compete at this level; she knows the profile of the women who will be a great fit for PC. When she entered the coaching profession, she made it clear that returning to PC was her ultimate career goal. Her passion for PC and this program makes her the right person to lead our team to continued success. Welcome back and welcome home, Shayla!”
Snow has three years of collegiate coaching experience at two different colleges: Converse and Limestone. Before coming to PC, she spent the 2026 season as assistant coach at Converse University in Spartanburg, S.C. At Converse, she coached two competitors named to the Conference Carolinas All-Conference team and 11 named to the NCATA Academic Honor Roll.
She began her coaching career with two seasons (2024-25) as an assistant coach at Limestone University in Gaffney, S.C. In the 2025 season, she played a role in guiding one competitor to a national title in the aerial pass and helping the team earn one of eight spots in the NCATA national team championships. During her time at Limestone, she helped the Saints capture two Conference Carolinas championships.
Snow competed for the Blue Hose from 2020-23. During her Presbyterian career, she competed in 13 different heats.
The Palm Harbor, Florida, native graduated from Presbyterian College with a bachelor’s degree in English in 2023.
“Coming back to Presbyterian College and having the opportunity to lead this program is truly a full-circle moment for me,” Snow said. “As a member of the inaugural acrobatics & tumbling competition team, I had the opportunity to help build this program from the ground up, so I know what this program was built to be because I helped build it. It makes coming home and having the opportunity to lead this program incredibly meaningful. I’m so excited for the future of Presbyterian’s acrobatics & tumbling program and honored to help continue building on the foundation we started years ago. I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together!”
