Score Close First Half

Charleston, S.C. Jan 29 (AP) - The Citadel defeated the Presbyterian College here tonight in basketball, 46 to 25. The playing of Douglas, of The Citadel, was outstanding in every respect. Johnson, of The Citadel, also did some nice work. Dunlap and Witherspoon were best for the visitors. The first half was close, but in the second period the Cadets ran away from their hard fighting opponents.
