Victory Over P.C. Gives Four Wins In State
Charleston, Feb. 2 (AP) - The Citadel basketball team kept its state record clean by defeating Presbyterian College here last night 41 to 30. The Cadets have now won four consecutive games from state opponents without a single defeat.
Presbyterian stepped away to a 2-0 lead in the first ten minutes. The Blue Stockings were outplaying the Cadets starting team at every turn. But George Weeks, star Bulldog forward, was inserted here and his strong floor work steadied the Citadel which had pulled into a tie by half time. The score was tied at 19-19.
