MORGANTOWN, W.Va.- Presbyterian College dropped a 93-26 decision to 13th-ranked West Virginia on Saturday afternoon at the WVU Coliseum.
The loss dropped PC to 1-9 on the season, while the Mountaineers improved to 9-1 on the year with the victory.
Sharie Hopkins (Chesapeake, Va.) led all Lady Blue Hose scorers with nine points, while teammates Amy Jones (Warthen, Ga.) and Tishe Sanders (Laurens, S.C.) both secured a team-high five rebounds.
Six players reached double figures in scoring for West Virginia led by Meg Bulger's 19-point performance. Bulger connected on seven shots from the field, while teammate Liz Repella added 13 points and five boards.
The Blue Hose return to the court at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 18 to take on the 2006-07 Conference USA champion East Carolina Pirates at the Templeton Center.
