CLINTON, S.C. - The Presbyterian College men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to future conference opponent Charleston Southern on Thursday afternoon.
 
The Blue Hose won two singles matches to claim the two points.
 
Freshman Henry Walker (Greenville, S.C.) continued a successful first year with the Blue Hose by winning in No. 4 singles against CSU's Chris Peek 4-6, 7-6, 10-7.  Walker now improves to 5-4 in singles play on the year.
 
Brad Luciuk (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada) defeated Thomas Mullikin in No. 6 singles (6-3, 3-6, 10-7) to score PC's other point.
 
PC men's tennis will travel to the lowcountry of South Carolina next for two matches in Charleston, S.C. over Spring Break.  The Blue Hose will face off against James Madison at 1 p.m. on March 3 followed by a match against The Citadel at 1 p.m. on March 4.
 
The next home match will be against future Big South opponent UNC Asheville on March 29 at 1 p.m. on the Templeton Tennis Courts.
