but neither team was able to put away the match winning goal. It was PC's second draw of the season as the
Blue Hose move to 2-9-2 on the year and 1-4-2 in the Big South. The Chanticleers move to 4-2-6 and 1-0-3 in
the league with the draw.
"Again I was very pleased with our effort tonight," said

we do finish our chances."
The Blue Hose went down 1-0 on 16 minutes when Matt Schroder
went free on a breakaway to put the Chanticleers up a goal. The unassisted goal was his first of the
season.
Presbyterian College equalized in the 26th minute
when Paul Jackson bulged the onion sack for his second goal of the season. He scored off an assist from Paul
Gunning. Gunning's through ball found a
diving Jackson's feet at the far post to level the teams at 1-1.
PC registered a few notable chances early in the second half
including a one on one shot from Sam Eastridge which was well saved by the CCU
keeper.
The teams remained level for the remainder of regulation and
went to golden goal overtime play.
The first ten minutes passed without incident, each team
tallying unsuccessful chances. The
Chanticleers ruled the run of play in the first three minutes of the second overtime
session but PC was able to regain control late.
Neither team was able to score, leaving the match as a 1-1 draw.
