The Presbyterian College women's basketball team fell, 72-36 to Charlotte on a
dreary Wednesday evening at the 49ers Halton Arena.? The Blue Hose fall to 0-8 in advance of the
home opener on Saturday night against Georgia State.
Mariah Pietrowski was the bright spot for the Blue Hose as
she reached double figures in scoring for the second consecutive game.? She poured in ten points to go into
double-digits for the fifth time this season.
Dria David added six more including a perfect 1-1
performance from beyond the arc.? Chelsea
Parker opened her career scoring account with four points.?
Kristen Stevens bagged five points to go along with four
assists while senior Lea Smith scored four points for the second consecutive
game.
The Blue Hose were six-of-seven from the charity stripe
overall and the hopes for a perfect night from the line ended the streak of six
straight.
The Blue Hose will host their home opener on Saturday
afternoon against the Georgia State Panthers.?
The game is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.?
The game will be followed by a 7:30 p.m. men's game against Radford.
