The Presbyterian College men's tennis team earned two road wins against Spartanburg Methodist and Davidson on Saturday to improve to 9-1 on the year.
The Blue Hose will host USC Upstate on Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 2:30 p.m. at the Templeton Tennis Courts.
PC opened up the day with a 9-0 sweep of SMC in Spartanburg, S.C.
In doubles play, the Blue Hose shutout the Pioneers 3-0. Brandon Mills (Lilburn, Ga.) and Lukas Luckemeier (Greven, Germany) bested the No. 1 team from SMC, 9-8. Will Baird (Raleigh, N.C.) and Steven Weaver (Charleston, S.C.) cruised to a perfect 8-0 victory at flight 2, and Alejandro Bejar (Madrid, Spain) and Joel Roberts (Summerville, S.C.) earned an 8-1 at No. 3 doubles.
Ryan Miller (Norcross, Ga.) posted a 6-2, 6-0 win over Zac Dye at No. 1 singles for the Blue Hose. Mills put together a 6-0, 6-2 performance over Harry Reed at flight 2, while Roberts defeated Mouhamed Gueye at No. 3, 6-3, 6-0.
Weaver earned a 6-1, 6-1 win over Dalton Hendrix at No. 4, Baird notched a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Reynard Julien in flight 5, and Ben Kelley (Weaverville, N.C.) shut out Colby Landrum at No. 6 singles, 6-0, 6-0.

Later in the evening at Davidson, PC earned a close 5-2 victory over the Wildcats.
PC earned the doubles point on a 6-3 win by Roberts and Alexander Lykou (Aarhus, Denmark) at No. 1 doubles and a close 7-6 victory by Kelley and Miller at No. 2.
In singles action, Diego Manzanas (Madrid, Spain) put PC up 2-0 with a 6-2, 6-3 win over David Hager at No. 4.
Lykou earned a three-set win at No. 3, 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 over J.B. Gough to put PC up 3-0.
Bruce and Miller were narrowly defeated in three sets at No. 1 and No. 2 to cut Davidson's deficit to 3-2.
Kelley notched the game winner over Jordan Hart at flight 5, 6-4, 6-5 and Bejar added an insurance point against Alex Howard at No. 6, 6-3, 7-6 to give the Blue hose the 5-2 victory.
