PC falls to USC Upstate

CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College men's soccer team lost 7-0 to USC Upstate Saturday night at Martin Stadium.

PC fell to 0-2 on the year, while Upstate went to 1-1 on the season.

The Spartan's Gordon Wild netted four goals, while Leon Schwarzer scored two for their firsts of the season. Michelangelo Dovidio collected his first goal of the season in the 52nd minute with an assist from James Campbell.

Jake Fuller (Simpsonville, S.C.) led the Blue Hose with three shots and put two on frame. Onyemac Provost (Aiken, S.C.) and Bruce Olivier (Johannesburg, South Africa) both added a shot and put it on goal.

Johhny Archer (Charlotte, N.C.) and Connor Behrend (St. Simons Island, Ga.) both gathered one save on the night for PC.

The Blue Hose travel to Wofford 7 p.m. Tuesday.
